OK for the price

This product is ok for the price. I wouldn't have wanted to pay $40 or more for it. It transmits as advertised. I was disappointed that it doesn't come with better instructions. It took me a little while to figure out how to set the frequency. I find that it doesn't transmit at a very high volume however. I wish there was a volume setting. I have to turn the volume up higher on the radio for this device than when I am listening to my Sirius radio.

Good so far...

I love this.. the iPhone 4 sound through the speakers is crystal clear and beautiful.. better sound quality than I get from just using the radio. You DO NOT need the 3.5mm cable for the iPhone.. the box is a bit misleading on this point which left me frustrated and trying to figure out why I couldn't get any sound. Leaving now for a bit of running around town and I am excited to test it out further.

Great for ten bucks

With an iPhone it makes the whole thing a little heavy and therefore it can make the whole unit sway. Other then that I really like it.

Good but could be better

I have been using this fm transmitter for a couple of months now. Works perfectly, easily attaching an Ipod or other mp3 player. When driving some frequencies are clearer than others in different areas, so I ocassionally need to change stations. This is where the my one complaint comes in. It would be extremely handy to have some preset buttons on the transmitter to allow for easy, quick switching of stations. When the car is turned off ther transmitter reverts back to a default setting, which means resetting the transmitter to the frequency that gives the best reception. The price was right for the item, but it does have a few deficiencies.

Love it!

I purchased this for my fiance a few months ago. Since then, I have purchased 2 more for friends that were very impressed with the functionality! The only issue he's had is that the cord to connect to non-Apple products has started to have trouble maintaining a strong connection so sometimes sound only comes out of one set of speakers in his truck. However, the dock is inexpensive and it won't cost much to replace the cord. Overall, we all love this product!
